Pondering Tiger's Attitude, Biceps

OK, I'm a believer that Tiger Woods is the best golfer who ever lived. I know he's struggling with his game right now, but I'm also sure that he'll get it straightened out.

But as much as I admire and respect Tiger's game, his arrogance at times offends me. When was the last time you saw Tiger Woods signing autographs? He walks from shot to shot with his head down, refusing to acknowledge the cheering fans as he passes.

It bothers me that Tiger doesn't show more appreciation for the people who make it possible for him to earn all those millions of dollars.

Another thing that I'm beginning to wonder about Tiger. Notice how muscular his upper body is now? I've always heard that body-building was not conducive to a good golf swing. Flexibility excercises are good, but huge muscles kind of get in the way of a fluid swing. Those huge biceps that he loves to show off may be a problem when it comes to making a good golf swing.

I don't know. Anybody out there who can shed some light on this possibility? I'm just curious.

People said a few years ago said that Tigers only problem was he liked to work out to much and in away he has done that.

Another thing you talk about his arrogance when he walks around with his head down he is keeping his concentration which very hard at that level, but I don't know about the end why he doesn't sign some autographs.

Hi Daniel, I agree that Tiger is keeping his concentration by ignoring everything around him. But I do think he could give a little back to the many fans who show up to watch him. You know, just a smile now and then. Maybe a nod.
Tiger is a national treasure and his talent is to be appreciated. But sometimes I just think he isolates himself too much.

Yes, you are exactly right if he would smile sign some autographs I think he might even get more fans if that's possible.
When we talk about Tiger and say what is wrong with him, he kind of spoiled us last year winning almost every tournament and now I think when he gets just a hair sharper he'll be back to where he usually is and maybe even better.

I don't doubt that Tiger will win again and soon. But I still think he's bulked a little too much with all the weight lifting. He just doesn't have the control that he has always had before. He's still the best golfer in the world, though.

The club throwing thing on TV has got to stop. There are WAY too many kids who idolize him for that. I have thrown a club maybe twice in my life and I felt so stupid after I did it I just do not do it anymore regardless of how I'm playing..The golf swing is geometry. While Tiger is bulking up it is changing the angles and his geometry. So he will have to keep adjusting until he gets as big as he wants and stabilizes. Until then we will continue to see the sprayed shots..there is no other way around it

Whether he likes it or not, Sam, Tiger Woods is a role model. Kids all over the world idolize him. He's the greatest golf talent that has ever lived and he has to realize that this is a burden he must bear. Throwing clubs and tossing F-Bombs is not what his adoring fans want from him. They want to see him splitting fairways, hitting greens and making putts. He's the greatest and he needs to live up to espectations.

you would think he and his agents would know that...and it would have stopped years ago..i understand he is playing for millions but he has already got more money than he could ever spin..i guess its that killer instinct to win he has like no ther..still its a shame to see
