- Play: NFL - GOLF

OK, let's see if I've got this right ...
Phil Mickelson is ticked off at the PGA Tour and the USGA because they banned square grooves on golf clubs.
So, he takes advantage of a loophole in the rule, namely a grandfathering clause for Ping Eye-2 wedges made prior to 1990 and puts a couple in his bag.
So, Scott McCarron, takes offense to Phil's philandering and calls him a cheater despite knowledge that the clubs are not banned by the USGA or the PGA Tour.
So, Phil gets so mad he blows his cool and starts his final round with three bogeys, loses any chance he has of contending, and then thretens to sue McCarron for slander.
You gotta love the soap opera that the PGA Tour has become. It's a thrill a day.
And yet, even without Tiger showing his face, PGA Tour golf seems to be thriving. Do you really think the game is bigger than one man? Maybe even bigger than a Tiger?
It's beginning to look like it. But stay tuned; there will be another sideshow coming right up. In fact, don't be surprised if Tiger comes out of hiding within the next month.
Do you know that it's high time to receive the loan, which would make you dreams real.
